FAQ:  Are the board shorts true to size?  Since we all know that specs can vary for a given size across brands, we suggest buying according to the size chart below.  They are true to the size chart.

    Mens Fixed (non elastic) Waist by Xelos Brand / Grizzo HB

    Our board shorts are sized such that the size is the actual circumference of the waistband.  For example, a "SZ 38" will have a waistband that measures 38" like in the photo below.  In this example, you may have 38's in your closet that measure 40" in circumference (when measured like in the photo).  Therefore, we recommend measuring your best fitting shorts/pants and ordering the corresponding size from us (in inches) as compared to ordering from the size tag sewn into your favorites.

    For example, our size 38" waist (as shown in the photo above) will have a waistband with a 38" circumference (19" X 2)

    Kids

    Use the chart below to convert a numerical boys size (4-20) or a lettered size (XS-2X) to approximate waist size in inches.  The size range we offer in kids fixed (non elastic) waist board shorts is 22" - 27" in 1" increments (22", 23", 24", 25", 26", 27").  Waist sizes of 28" and up are in the Men's Department.
